The Art of Framing

When I’m walking through the smaller cities near my home in the upper Willamette Valley, it is always an adventure in framing when I encounter something new. This morning I walked by roses poking through the slats of a white picket fence where I recognized the potential for seeing more. I tried close-ups, distant shots, angular shots, from above shots, and found the real experience was the feelings my attempts to create art contributed toward my sense of purpose and well-being. Too much art production these days seems to focus on the dollar signs when art rewards us with the deeper meaning of what it means to be human.
